This time, Mosharraf Karim is chief judge

Popular actor of the time, Mosharraf Karim, has been appointed as the chief judge for the 2025-26 edition of the Bavasi International Film Festival. This is the first time he has been assigned such a role
as a judge.

The Bavasi festival is organised as a tri-national initiative (Bangladesh-India-Singapore). 52 films have been selected in the initial selection phase.

Out of these, the best 16 films have been selected for second round based on the observations of the jury board. After going through various stages in stages, 7 films will be selected for the final round.
Actor Mosharraf Karim said, “As easy as the word judge sounds, the responsibility is not that easy.

However, I try to give my best in any task in life. Bavasi is truly a wonderful platform, where there is an opportunity for the talent development of newcomers.

This is my first responsibility as a judge in my career of so many years. I thank the organising committee for giving me such a responsibility as a judge.”
