Cricket Carnival of special children held

The cricket carnival with children autistic and intellectual disability was held on Saturday at Government physical training ground in the city’s Mohammadpur, said a press release.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder MP formally inaugurated the meet as chief guest. Dr M Aminul Islam, director of Sports Directorate, was also present on the occasion.
Sports Directorate organized the day-long competition to mark the Independence Day.
Some 25 autistic boys and girls from ten institutions took part in the competition.
