Hanging body of Amar Desh journo recovered

Police last night recovered the hanging body of GM Babar Ali, the Barisal bureau chief of the ‘Dainik Amar Desh’ from a house in Patuakhali.
He was 56.
Babar Ali, a former general secretary of Barisal Press Club, is survived by his two wives and three sons and a large number of relations and friends to mourn his death.
Police said Ali went to the residence of his second wife Jaharna Begum yesterday.
Following a quarrel between the husband and wife, Babar Ali reportedly committed suicide by hanging.
Mohammad Monirul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Patuakhali Sadar thana, told BSS that the body of Ali was retrieved from the spot and sent to Patuakhali Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
A UD case was recorded with Patuakhali Sadar thana in this regard.
