Kunming city Mayor visits Ctg

A 10-member delegation led city Mayor of Kunming Municipality of Kunming Province of the Peoples Republic of China Mr Li Wenrong visited port city Chittagong yesterday.
During their visit, Kunming Mayor called on City Mayor Manzoor Alam at the TIC hall and exchanged views over the bilateral issues.
On mutual interests of both the friendly countries . The city Mayor apprised the ongoing and proposed development activities of the port city to the visiting Chinese delegation , sources said. City Mayor Manzoor Alam welcomed the visiting Chinese delegation and extended warm reception the TIC yesterday evening. The city mayor apprised the Kunming Mayor about the advantages of transshipment of imported consignments through Chittagong Port in future and the Chittagong port has the every facilities of transshipment of cargos, sources said.
