Rajshahi Div amass 675/9 dec against Chittagong Div
Forhad Reza’s double century and Sanjamul Islam and Mukter Ali’s tons enabled Rajshahi Division to amass 675 runs against Chittagong Division on the 2nd day of the four-day match Walton 15th National Cricket League at BKSP ground-3 in Savar on Sunday.
Rajshahi Division, which resumed the 1st innings with overnight 424/7 and added 251 more runs losing 2 wickets, declared the innings at 675 for 9 in 135.3 overs.
Night watch Forhad Reza (182) scored double century making 259 runs off 334 balls with 35 fours and five sixes.
Another night watch batsman Muktar Ali (0), batting at number nine, made a century scoring 168 runs off 148 balls with eight fours and 16 sixes.
Ali Akbar claimed the day’s two wickets for 59 runs, finishing with overall 4 wickets for 157 runs in the 1st innings.
In reply, Chittagong Division opened the 1st innings and scored 165 for 7 in 41 overs.
Faisal Hossain scored 54 runs while Irfan Sukur and Mehedi Hasan Rana were batting with 39 and 29 runs respectively.
Muktar Ali captured three wickets for 10 runs in 6.1 overs.

In the day’s another match, Dhaka Division took a 13-run lead against Barisal Division at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
Dhaka Division resumed the 1st innings on the 2nd day (overnight 14 for no loss in 8 overs) and scored 336 runs for 4 in 98 overs with Taiabur Parvez scoring 102 runs at stumps on the day.
Taiabur Parvez’s century featured 13 fours off 150 balls.
Shuvagata Hom and Nadif Chowdhury were batting with 65 and 32 runs respectively.
Monir Hossain took two wickets for 97 runs in 36 overs.
