Actress Samira Khan Mahi in new identity
Apart from acting, many artistes are involved in business. Some have restaurants, some are associated with beauty parlors, some have fashion brands.
This time, small screen actress Samira Khan Mahi has entered the business world. She has joined Speedtouch Autos, a car sales company, as a director. She is also a shareholder of the company.
Confirming her association with car sales company Speedtouch, Samira Khan Mahi said, “I want to contribute to the journey of this company with my vision, energy and ideas.
Through Speedtouch Autos, our goal is to create better quality, fair prices and competitive opportunities for customers in the field of brand new, reconditioned and pre-owned cars.”
Samira Khan Mahi also said, “I have been planning to do business alongside acting for a long time.
I am basically moving forward with two different business plans. First, I officially told everyone about the car business. I hope to be able to share the news about the other one soon.”
Mahi has been giving less time to acting for the past two years. She works only when she likes the story and character. And she has prepared herself to do something different along with acting.
She said, “I have reduced the number of jobs for the past two years. At that time, I felt that I should do something along with acting. Acting is my source of income. I have to decide to work selectively there.
Because, I will not do all the work, I will do it only if I like the story; so I have to think of something different for earning. There has to be a different way of earning. That is why I got involved in business.”
Recently, Samira Khan Mahi has signed a contract to act in two mini-series. Titled ‘Mayar Songsar’ and ‘Kormofol’.
Series ‘Kormofol’ is directed by Mohin Khan. The series, which is based on a family story, also stars Dilara Zaman, Irfan Sajjad, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, A Kh M Hasan, Deepa Khandakar, Monira Mithu, among others.
The two series will soon be released on the Cinemawala YouTube channel.
