Canadian Univ holds Edn Fair

Campus Report :The Canadian University of Bangladesh organized an Education Fair in the city recently. Commerce Minister Tofael Ahmed inaugurated the fair. The visitors were encouraged seeing the initiative taken by the University, especially the opportunity created for students to transfer credit to Canadian Universities for higher education.According to AK Azad Chowdhury, “The 21st century society wants global workforce from the universities. Worldwide top universities are providing these workforces. Canadian University of Bangladesh, a piece of Canada in Bangladesh is trying to produce such workforce not only for Bangladesh but also for global society. Soon, the University will be the 21st century University in truest term.”Dr Atiur Rahman also spoke on the occasion. He was much satisfied to see the beginning made by the Canadian University of Bangladesh. He was happy to note that the University will be able to make Education Bridge with Canada and prepare students with advanced education that can meet the challenges of 21st century. Founder of the University Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat said that we are focusing on applied knowledge for national development. Trustee member Anjuman Ara Shaheed, Raheeb Chowdhury and Vice Chancellor William H Derrenger from the Canadian University were also present.
