JU annual sports held

BSS, JU :

Mahfuzul Haque and Sharmin Sultana became the fastest man and fastest woman respectively in the annual sports competition of the Jahangirnagar University at the university’s central playground on Thursday.
AFM Kamal Uddin Hall became the champion and Mowlana Bhashani Hall became the runner- up among the male dormitories while Sheikh Hasina hall became the champion and Jahanara Imam Hall became the runner-up among the female dormitories.
JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Farzana Islam inaugurated the annual sports competition as the chief guest at about 9 am. Pro-VC Professor Dr. Abul Hossain and Treasurer Professor Dr. Abul Khair addressed the programme as special guests.
JU Pro-VC Professor Dr. Abul Hossain distributed prizes among the winners.
Dean of different faculties, Registrar Abu Bakr Siddique, Provosts of dormitories, president of the sports competition management committee, JU Registrar Abu Bakr Siddique and Director of Physical Education office Sifatullah were present, among others, at the function,.
