2 hurt in Dinajpur temple attack
Two people were injured in a bomb and gun attack on a temple in Kaharole upazila of the district on Thursday night.
Witnesses said miscreants first exploded a bomb and then fired gunshots at the temple run by International Society for Krishna Consciousness under Dabar union around 8pm when the temple committee was in a meeting inside.
Two people suffered bullet wounds in the attack. They were rushed to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital.
Locals also caught two suspects in connection with the attack, said officer-in-charge of Kaharole Police Station Mansur Ali.
Earlier on December 5, 10 people were injured as three crude bombs went off under the canopy of a ‘jatra’ show on the premises of Kantaji Temple in the upazila.
