The Kool-BSJA Media Football Tournament began at the BFF Artificial Turf on Friday.
Head of Marketing of Square Toiletries Limited Malik Md Sayeed formally opened the football competition as the chief guest.
In the day’s matches, bdnews24.com drew with New Age by 1-1 goals, Maasranga TV made a 2-2 draw with Jugantor, RTV settled for a goalless draw with Manabzamin, Samakal blanked Dhaka Tribune by 9-0 goals, Alokito Bangladesh thrashed Samay TV by 4-0 goals, Daily Star defeated Sakaler Khabar by 4-2 goals, Bangla Vision beat the Independent by a solitary goal.
Meanwhile, Jamuna TV got walkover from BSS.
Head Coach of Bangladesh National Football team Maruful Haque, former star footballer and Coach of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited Kazi Joshimuddin Joshi, President of BSJA ATM Sayeeduzzaman, former general secretary of BSJA Sayeedur Rahman Shamim and Convener of the Tournament Committee Anisur Rahman distributed the prizes of the Man of the Match.
