Club Cup Open Bodybuilding Competition begins today

The Marcel Refrigerator Club Cup Open Bodybuilding Competition begins today (Monday) at the Auditorium of National Sports Council Tower.
Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation will arrange the two-day long meet with the financial assistance of RB Group.
A total of 250 participants will take part in the ensuing bodybuilding competition. The competition will be held in seven weight categories. They are: Under-55 kg, Under-60 kg, Under-65 kg, Under-70 kg, Under-75 kg, Under-80 kg and Above-80 kg.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder, MP will inaugurate the competition as the chief guest while Additional Director of RB Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar will be present with him as the special guest.
Regarding the forthcoming bodybuilding competition, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangladesh Hockey Federation on Sunday.
President of Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation (BBF) Major General (Retd) Md Subid Ali Bhuiyan, MP, Additional Director of RB Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Don, Executive Director of RB Group SM Zahid Hasan, General Secretary of the Federation Md Nazrul Islam was present at the conference.
The budget of the competition has been estimated at Tk four lakh while RB Group, the sponsor of the meet has given Tk two lakh and fifty thousand to the BBF and BBF will bear rest of the expenditure from its own fund.
The winners of the competition will be awarded trophy and handsome prize-money.
