5 players share lead after 3rd round

Five layers shared the lead in the Saif Powertec Ltd 41st National ‘B’ Chess Championship after 3rd round games at Bangladesh Chess Federation (BCF) hall-room on Saturday.
IM Abu Sufian Shakil, FM Khandakar Aminul Islam, CM Mahtabuddin Ahmed, Uten and FM Rezaul Haque secured full 3 points each to take the joint top slot.
In 3rd round games, Shakil beat FM Saif Uddin, Aminul Islam outplayed Masum Hossain, Mahtabuddin defeated Majubur Rahman, Uten beat Alamgir Hossain while Reza got walk-over against Ikramul Haq Siam.
