DCL PLC honoured with ICSB Nat’l award

Daffodil Computers PLC (DCL), one of Bangladesh’s most respected and long-established publicly listed ICT companies, has been awarded the 12th ICSB National Award for Corporate Governance Excellence 2024, recognising its exemplary commitment to transparency, ethical leadership, regulatory compliance, and responsible corporate governance.
This prestigious national recognition is conferred by the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) following a rigorous and independent evaluation process conducted by specialized Technical Committees and a distinguished Jury Board comprising eminent national and international experts, including representatives from IFC.
The award reflects DCL’s strong governance framework, disciplined compliance culture, and consistent adherence to best practices as a publicly listed company-qualities that have earned the trust of shareholders, regulators, clients, and institutional partners for more than 35 years.

The formal award ceremony will be held on 15 December 2025, graced by Sk. Bashir Uddin, Honorable Adviser, Ministry of Commerce, Government of Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Lutfey Siddiqi, Special Envoy on International Affairs to the Chief Adviser, as the Guest of Honour. The event will also be attended by the Governor and Deputy Governors of Bangladesh Bank, BSEC Commissioners, senior government officials, ICSB leadership, and representatives of award-winning companies, underscoring the national importance of corporate governance excellence.
