Bangladesh Army Chief General Waker-uz-Zaman met with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna on Saturday, where he provided an overview of his recent official trips to the United States and Canada, according to the chief adviser’s press wing.
During the meeting, General Waker-uz-Zaman discussed the outcomes and key takeaways from his North American visit, which included engagements with military and defense officials.
The visit aimed to strengthen military ties and enhance cooperation in defense and security matters with both the United States and Canada.
The Chief Adviser and the Army Chief also discussed potential areas for defense collaboration, aligning with Bangladesh’s goals for security development and military modernization.
The meeting underscored the government’s commitment to maintaining strong international partnerships in the defense sector.
