Pakistan to play against India if BD is compensated

Sports Reporter :

Pakistan can play against India, but six conditions must be met, including compensation for Bangladesh, where Pakistan has demanded an increase in dividends, a series reinstatement and conditions related to conduct.

Pakistan may withdraw from the match boycott against India. However, it has added several tough conditions for this. It has demanded compensation for Bangladesh.

Pakistan boycotted its match against India in protest of Bangladesh’s exclusion from the T20 World Cup. The International Cricket Council (ICC) was shaken by this incident and fell into fear of major financial losses.

In such a situation, ICC Deputy Chairman Imran Khawaja rushed to Pakistan on Saturday. He sat for a meeting with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam Bulbul was also called to participate in the meeting.

They met for more than five hours in Lahore on Sunday night. Although no official announcement was made after the meeting, it is heard that Pakistan has become flexible to play against India.

However, various media outlets have reported that it has given six conditions to reconsider the decision. Telecom Asia Sport and Indian media NDTV have reported this information.

It has been learned that three of the six conditions are in favor of Pakistan, and three demands have been made for Bangladesh.

The first of the three conditions that Pakistan has given for itself is an increase in the amount of dividends. They want more than the money that Pakistan currently receives from the ICC.

The second condition is to start a bilateral series between India and Pakistan. Pakistan wants the series to be played again between the two countries. And the third condition is related to behavior.

They have demanded that they do not want to see any kind of polite handshake or sarcasm.

On the other hand, NDTV reported that the PCB has made three demands on behalf of Bangladesh to the ICC.

One of which is that the ICC should compensate Bangladesh for not playing in the World Cup. In addition, the participation fee for the World Cup should be paid.

And the third condition is that the right to organise any event in the future should be given.

Although PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is still adamant about not playing the match against India, it is learned that he will meet again with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to make a decision.
