The winter has been gradually increasing since the beginning of the monsoon. In the second week, winter has settled in Sylhet.
Even though the sun appears briefly in the sky wrapped in a sheet of fog, it remains dim.
The surrounding area is being covered in a sheet of fog. Along with this, the cold wind coming from the Himalayas for a few days has increased the intensity of the winter.
The bitter cold wind and thick fog have also affected normal public life.
Meteorologists believe that the outbreak of winter may increase further in the coming January.
As time goes by, the intensity of the winter is also increasing. In such a situation, the demand for warm clothes has increased in Sylhet to ward off the cold.
Various types of winter clothes are being sold and bought on footpaths, shopping malls and shopping malls from morning to night.
Such a picture can be seen on Sunday afternoon when visiting the city’s Bandar Bazar, Zindabazar, Amberkhana, and Rikabi Bazar areas.
It can be seen on the ground that there is a wide range of winter clothes in various markets including Hassan Market in Bandar Bazar, Madhuban Market, Shukriya Market in Zindabazar, and Londoni Mansion in Sylhet city.The stalls have been arranged according to demand for clothes.
These include jackets, sweaters, hoodies, blazers, woolen shawls, earmuffs, and socks.
