ISHWARDI, PABNA: A day-long ‘Nuclear Day’ was celebrated in Ishwardi through various events by Nuclear Information Center. A nuclear tent was set up on the occasion in Ishwardi Municipal premises along with various fun science-based games for the public from Thursday morning in the the tent. Students and people from all walks of life and all the municipal officials participated in this day-long event. It is to be noted that on November 30, 2017, the concrete pouring of the first unit of Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant started. Since then this day is observed as ‘Nuclear Day’ every year.
