Two held for stealing fishplate of Bhairab rail line

The railway police (GRP) have arrested two criminals while stealign the fishplates and nuts of the Dhaka-Chittagong railway line at Bhairab in Kishoreganj on Thursday night at 9.20 pm
The arrested are Rimon (22) and Sagar (24), sons of deceased Amin Mia of Lakshipur village in Bhairab upazila. They are about siblings and activists of BNP’s yoths front Jubo Dal.
According to GRP in Bhairab Bazar sources, on secret information Police went to the spot, railway equipment being opened from the railway line near Bridge No. 33 of the Jagannathpur area of the Dhaka-Chittagong railway line. At that time, two youths were arrested with the help of local residents.
Later, three fish plates and five nuts were seized from them.
When contact to the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of GRP in Bhairab Bazar Abdul Alim told the New Nation that, two youths were arrested during the opening of railway equipment on the Dhaka-Chittagong railway line. The railway police have filed a case against those detained in this incident.
