HR Blood Therapy Unit at DCH : A fully automated, state of the art Apheresis Machine has been installed in Dhaka Community Hospital (DCH). The HR Blood Therapy Unit has been established in honor of Karnaphuli’s Founder Chairman, Hedayet Hossain Chowdhury and Vice Chairman, Rashida Hossain Chowdhury, as an extension of the Group’s CSR activities. The facility will be managed and operated 24 x 7, on an operational cost recovery basis, by Dhaka Community Hospital Trust. The unit is able to separate plasma, platelets, and red blood cells from donors, as per needs of Covid-19, Dengue & other disorders patients. It can also remove and exchange substances in other therapeutic procedures.
