UNB, Dhaka :Bangladesh National Football team will play Malaysia National Football team in a FIFA International friendly football match at Shah Alam Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia today (Saturday).The battle between the two teams will begin at 8:45pm local time.Ahead of the friendly, Bangladesh booters took part a two-day practice session at Padang Latihan Sime Darby, Bukit Jelutong Football ground (Thursday and Friday).Bangladesh will play the friendly against Malaysia as part of their preparation for the joint qualifier of the FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers/AFC Cup Qualifiers on September 3 against Asian champions and four-time World Cup playing team Australia at the NIB Stadium in Perth.After playing the friendly against Malaysia, Bangladesh team will leave Kuala Lumpur for Perth on Sunday (August 30) morning.Earlier, a 33-member Bangladesh contingent, including 23 booters and 10 officials, reached Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.On return from Australia on September 4, the Bangladesh team will play their home match against another giant Jordan on September 8 in Dhaka.Bangladesh grouped seeded with Australia, Jordan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to play home and away basis qualifying round matches.Skipper cum famed midfielder Mamunul Islam Mamun will lead Bangladesh team in two qualifying matches.Players of Bangladesh team: Mamunul Islam Mamun (Captain), Shahidul Alam, Rasel Mahmud, Ashraful Islam Rana, Rayhan Hasan, Nasirul Islam Nasir, Tapu Barman, Yeasin Khan, Yeamin Ahmed Chowdhury Munna, Atiqur Rahman Meshu, Mohammad Linkon, Sohel Rana, Hemonta Vincent Biswas, Jamal Bhuyan, Monaem Khan Raju, Emon Mahmud, Abdul Baten Majumder Komal, Taklis Ahmed, Aminur Rahman Sajib, Zahid Hossain, Jahid Hasan Ameli, Jewel Rana and Enamul Haque.
