Beach Football Tournament begins tomorrow

Sports Reporter :The Walton 2nd Cox’s Bazar Beach Football Tournament begins tomorrow at the Laboni Point of Cox’s Bazar Seashore.Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association will arrange the four-day long football meet under auspices of Walton. In this regard, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday. First Senior Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, General Secretary of Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association Anup Barua, Member of Bangladesh Football Federation Bijon Barua, and Secretary of the Tournament Committee Rashed Hossain Nannu were present at the conference.A total of eight teams will take part in the football competition. They are: Abahani Krira Chakra, National Cox Krira Sangha, Malumghat Krira Sangha, Youngmens Club, Coat Bazar Players Association, Football Club Moheshkhali, Bashkata Players Association and Shatadal Club.The champions of the tournament will be awarded Tk 20,000 while the runners-up will be given Tk 15,000 as prize-money.Each participant team will get Tk 5,000 as participation money.The tournament will come to an end on September1.
