Economics dept win JU football title

The Economics department of Jahangirnagar University (JU) became champion in the Inter-Department football competition at the university’s central playground here on Sunday.
The final round of the competition was held yesterday, where JU Economics department defeated Bangla department by 3-1 goals, a university press release said today.
Presided over by Bashir Ahmed, chairman of the Sports Management Committee, JU Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Abul Hossain was present at the event as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners.
Treasurer Prof Dr Abul Khair was present as the special guest on the occasion.
