BCB to give show-cause notices to Elias and Nadif

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will give show-cause notices to Elias Sunny and Nadif Chowdhury. Chairman of the Media Committee of BCB Jalal Yunus confirmed this matter yesterday to a local website.
Elias Sunny and Nadif Chowdhury took part in a foreign tournament with Mohammad Ashraful in the United States of America last month.
BCB has banned Mohammad Ashraful for five years as he was found guilty for match-fixing in the last Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Jalal Yunus said, ” BCB will give show-cause notices to Elias Sunny and Nadif Chowdhury as they played with Ashraful without permission of BCB. Then they will be called to Disciplinary Committee of BCB. After the reply of the show-cause notices of Elias Sunny and Nadif Chowdhury, BCB will take the decision of the fate of Sunny and Nadif.”
As per rule the player who signed agreement with BCB, cannot take part any competition without permission of BCB. Elias Sunny and Nadif Chowdhury are the cricketers who signed agreement with BCB.
Apart from Sunny and Nadif, Shaker Ahmed and Tapash Baisya also played in that tournament.
