Int’l Confce on PSDT at CUET from Thursday

A two-day long international conference on Physics for Sustainable Development & Technology(PSDT)-2015 will begin at Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) campus from August 19 next.
Founder vice chancellor of Open University and Fellow professor of Bangladesh Academy of science Prof.M Shamsher Ali will grace the inaugural ceremony as chief guest. Vice chancellor of CUET Prof. Dr.Jahangir Alam will attend it as guest of honour.
Pro-VC of CUET Prof. Md. Rafiqul Alam, Dean of Engineering & Tech Faculty Dr. Farukuzzaman Chowdhury and the Managing Director of Confidence cement Ltd Ln.Rupam Kishore Barua will also attend in it as special guests. Head of Physics Department Prof. Md. Abdur Rashid will preside the inaugural session. In this international conference, 120 research papers on the subject of 6 countries will be present for discussions. Prof. Yoshiro Hirayama,Tohoku University, Japan, Prof. Michael Santos, University of Oklahoma, USA and Prof. A.K.M. Azharul Islam, IIUC, Chittagong will present these keynote papers on the occasion.
Dr. Go Yusa,Tohoku University, Japan, Prof. Dr. G.M.Bhuiyan, University of Dhaka and Dr. A.K.M. Abdul Hakim, Department of Glass & Ceramics, BUET, Dhaka will join the conference as invited speakers . Confidence Cement will sponsor the conference, a sources of CUET said.
