Confiscation of Salahuddin’s properties demanded

Following the verdict of Supreme court appellate division upholding the death penalty of war crimes convict Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury yesterday morning, Gonojagaron mancha, Mukhtijuddha Sangsad, Ghatak Dalal Nirmul committee and pro-liberation forces and freedom fighters brought out separate jubilant procession yesterday in the city. .The processionists distributed sweetmeats among the pedestrians and peoples irrespective of caste and creed after announcement of the SC verdict against death row convict. Separate rallies and jubilant processions brought out by the separate bodies .
The speakers in the rally said they are happy over the verdict of the appellate division of SC. The speakers in the rallies demanded confiscation of all properties of Salahuddin Quader Chy and make their residence Goods Hill into a Liberation Museum.
After announcement of the SC verdict district commander of FF Md. Shahabuddin said Salahuddin Quader is killer which was proved in the court and the people of Chittagong became happy over his death verdict in the rally. The rally also demanded immediate execution of the convict . Among others comrade Shah Alam, Raozan upazila chairman Ehsanul Haider chowdhury, Deputy commander Shahidul Islam, Mahbubul Alam, FF Alimulllah, Santo Lal , Nasiruddin also spoke in it.
