Amite aims to replicate his domestic cricket form for Bangladesh team
Amite Hasan was dropped from the Bangladesh national cricket team following the Test series against Zimbabwe.
He was left out of the squad for the Test against Afghanistan, as well as the first Test against the West Indies in Dhaka.
However, he has now returned to the side for the second Test.
Amite has been in excellent form with the bat in the ongoing National Cricket League (NCL).
He hopes to carry this domestic performance into the national team, stating, “I don’t feel any extra pressure upon my return to the squad.
I simply intend to play the same way I have been playing in our domestic cricket.”
Regarding his return, Amite added, “Unfortunately, Mominul Bhai is unavailable due to a head injury. If an opportunity arises for me, I will aim to play in the same manner and follow the same approach that I have employed in first-class cricket.”
When asked whether he discusses his batting with the senior players in the national team, Amite replied, “I generally talk to most of the seniors about how I can further improve my game and how I should go about my preparations.”
