Colombian rapper Chelo Hop steps on Israeli flag, chants ‘Free Palestine’

Colombian rapper Chelo Hop made a political statement in support of Palestine during her performance at the 2026 edition of Hip Hop al Parque, a major free hip-hop festival held in Bogotá, Colombia.

Instead of waving an Israeli flag presented to her on stage, the rapper placed it on the ground and stepped on it.

The 28th edition of Hip Hop al Parque took place on October 24 and 25 at Simón Bolívar Metropolitan Park. During the festival, Chelo Hop performed her latest track, ‘Anatomía’, produced by Astrallbass.

According to a post shared by El Enemigo Co and the rapper, the song calls on popular movements to remain patient and persistent in their resistance, while looking towards 2030 as the starting point for a new world.

Videos circulating on social media show a man holding an Israeli flag on stage before it is placed on the ground.

Chelo Hop then steps on the flag while continuing her performance, chanting “Palestina Libre” (‘Free Palestine’) and “Afuera lo que no pertenece” (‘Out with what does not belong’).
