Those who get angry when they see others doing good are ‘fireflies’: Salma

Singer Moushumi Akhter Salma has openly expressed her anger on social media about the inner jealousy that many people experience when they see the good or success of others.

The singer posted a harsh and realistic status on her verified Facebook ID about the mentality of some colleagues or friends, which instantly sparked discussion in the entertainment industry.

In a Facebook post, Salma wrote, “When you feel a burning sensation when you see the goodness of others, you realise that you are no longer human, you have already become a firefly.”

Noting that many of his colleagues or friends cannot tolerate the happiness and success of others, she wrote, “Those who burn with jealousy inside when they see the marital relationship, good work or beauty of others.

The only thing I ask from Allah is that Allah protects us from all these human fireflies. Ameen.”

The singer has expressed her disappointment and annoyance with people’s negative mentality and jealousy, based on her long experience in the music industry.

Salma is always busy with her music, along with her personal life and social issues. As part of this, her new song ‘Rupkumari’ is set to be released on October 25.
