Students of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University have secured spot in the top 10 finalists at the national ‘Supply Chain Research Challenge 6.0’ organized by the Bangladesh Institute of Human Resource Management (BIHRM). “Team Green Lights,” comprising Sania Akther, Khadiza Chowdhuri Dipa, and Md. Saiful Islam from the Department of Marketing, achieved this distinction.

Outperforming nearly 200 teams from various public and private universities across the country, the team emerged as finalists. Their research paper has been published in the international academic-business journal Supply Chain Insider. Additionally, the team members were awarded a scholarship for the prestigious ACSCP™ (Advanced Certificate in Supply Chain Professional) program.

Titled “Supply Chain Disruptions and Transparency: The Role of Customer Trust in Building Brand Loyalty,” the study evaluates how supply chain crises and corporate transparency influence consumer trust. The young researchers conducted a survey among 395 consumers to gather empirical data for their study.

Expressing their feelings, members of Team Green Lights said, “Achieving success in such a national competition during our undergraduate studies is a huge inspiration. This accomplishment gives us the confidence to pursue further research in marketing and supply chain management in the future.”

Notably, ‘Team Dominators’, another team from Marketing Department at JKKNIU, emerged as champions in the 5th Supply Chain Research Challenge. BIHRM organizes this annual competition to encourage research and professional skill development among university students.
