Babul Mia new BCIC Chairman

Additional Secretary Md Babul Mia joined the Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) as its chairman on October 1, after serving as an additional secretary at the Ministry of Planning.

According to a press release, Babul Mia joined the 15th Bangladesh Civil Service administration cadre on November 15, 1995.

During his career in field administration, he served in various districts as an assistant commissioner and magistrate, assistant commissioner (land), upazila nirbahi officer and additional deputy commissioner.

He later held important positions in central administration at several ministries, including the Ministry of Public Administration, the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and the Ministry of Planning.

He was serving as an additional secretary at the Ministry of Planning before joining BCIC as chairman.
