4th Made-in-Pakistan Exhibition at Dhaka

The 4th Made-in Pakistan Exhibition was launched at the International Convention City Bashundhara, Dhaka, on Tuesday. Organized by the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry, more than 100 Pakistani exhibitors are showcasing their products including textiles, food & beverages, cosmetics, herbal and wellness products, handicrafts and fashion accessories.

The exhibition will be open for the visitors daily from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and will continue till 26 September. Vice Chairman and Chief Executive, Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) of Bangladesh, Mr. Mohammad Hasan Arif and High Commissioner, Mr. Imran Haider jointly inaugurated the exhibition.

Representatives of different trade sectors, journalists, a large number of locals and members of the Pakistani community attended the inauguration ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, High Commissioner Mr. Haider said that bilateral trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh are growing steadily. He highlighted various recent developments including opening of several Pakistani fashion outlets in Bangladesh, increased trade in essential commodities and completion of technical process which will facilitate export of pineapples from Bangladesh to Pakistan. He added that the business communities of both countries may share policy proposals with the High Commission and the EPB, Bangladesh to address trade barriers and build long-term Business-to-Buisiness partnerships.

Vice Chairman, EPB. Mr. Arif congratulated the organizers for holding the exhibition and expressed his desire to increase exchange of delegations and exhibitors to encourage connection between business communities on both sides. He underscored that Bangladesh’s exhibitors will particpate in the upcoming exhibitions in Pakistan and assured EPB’s facilitation in organizing joint seminars and conferences. He also invited Pakistani delegates to participate in the upcoming Global Sourcing Expo and Dhaka International Trade Fair 2027 in Bangladesh. He urged business communities of both the countries to explore joint ventures and business opportunities based on complementarity.

Both the Vice Chairman EPB and the High Commissioner appreciated the organisers for organising the exhibition.
