Feni UNO inspects development projects

Feni Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sultana Nasrin Kanta inspected several development projects in Dharmapur and Dhalia unions on September 7 and 8 to assess their quality and implementation progress.

The projects were being implemented by the Upazila Parishad, Union Parishads and the Upazila Relief and Disaster Management Department.

During the inspection, the UNO directed the officials concerned to ensure that the implementation of the development projects does not cause any harm to the environment.

She also stressed the need to take effective measures to protect the environment throughout the project implementation process.

The responsible engineers were instructed to conduct regular and proper supervision of the ongoing works and ensure that the projects are implemented sustainably in line with the government’s development goals.

The inspection was aimed at ensuring the quality, proper implementation and sustainability of the development projects, officials said.
