Rob Reiner receives posthumous Emmy

Hollywood actor and producer Rob Reiner died in December last year.

The bodies of Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle Singer Reiner were recovered from their Los Angeles home. Nine months after his death, legendary director and actor Rob Reiner has received an honorary Emmy Award.

He was given the posthumous honor in the ‘Outstanding Guest Actor (Comedy)’ category for his performance in the series ‘The Bear’. The Creative Arts Emmy Awards, held on September 5 and 6, honoured the cast and guest artists.

Presenter Wendy McClendon-Covey accepted the award on behalf of Rob Reiner. The audience in the auditorium gave a standing ovation for a minute.
