BNP celebrates 48th founding anniv nationwide
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) celebrated its 48th founding anniversary in Rangamati, Rangpur and Moulvibazar on Tuesday.
In Rangpur: The 48th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) was celebrated in the divisional city of Rangpur through various programmes. On the occasion of the founding anniversary, a colorful rally was held on Tuesday afternoon at the initiative of Rangpur Metropolitan and District BNP. The rally started from the city party office at noon.
Leaders and activists of various levels of BNP and its affiliates and associate organizations participated in the rally. The rally became festive with the participation of leaders and activists carrying party and national flags, banners and festoons.
The rally circled the main roads of the city and ended at the DC intersection. During this time, the leaders and activists raised various party slogans. A large presence of BNP leaders and activists was observed on important roads of the city centering on the anniversary.
In Rangamati: The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Rangamati unit, today began a three-day programme marking the party’s 48th founding anniversary by hoisting the national and party flags in front of the district BNP office.
The district BNP, its affiliated and associate organisations, have organised various programmes as part of the anniversary celebrations.
District BNP general secretary Advocate Mamunur Rashid Mamun attended the flag-hoisting ceremony as the chief guest at the party office this morning.
In Moulvibazar: To mark the 48th founding anniversary of the BNP, a rally organized by the Kulaura Upazila BNP paraded through the town on Tuesday afternoon, followed by a discussion meeting held at the Dak Bungalow premises. Alhaj Shawkatul Islam Shoku, MP, attended the meeting as the chief guest.
Presided over by Upazila BNP Senior Vice-President Abdul Jalil Jamal and moderated by General Secretary Badruzzaman Sajal, the event was attended by former Convener Redwan Khan, former Vice-Presidents S.M. Zaman Matin, Azizur Rahman Monir, and Alamgir Hossain Bhuiyan, former General Secretary Shamim Ahmad Chowdhury, and Joint General Secretary Kamar Uddin.
Ahmed Kamru, former joint secretary Mainul Haque Bakul, organizing secretary Abdul Muktadir Monu, former organizing secretary Sufian Ahmed, Abdul Muktadir Muktar, Deloyor Hossain, former Chhatra Dal leader Nazrul Islam Khan, Upazila Jubo Dal convener Zuber Ahmed Khan, senior joint convener Kawsar Ahmed Nipar, joint convener Abdul Muhit Bablu.
