Neha, Sunidhi get into an argument over reality show
Music reality shows are very popular in India. Every year, multiple shows are shown on various televisions.
However, the debate about how true stories of the contestants in those reality shows are about overcoming thousands of adversities and tears is a very old one in entertainment world.
Now, two of India’s most popular singers, Sunidhi Chauhan and Neha Kakkar, have got into an argument about these issues of reality shows.
Both Sunidhi and Neha have experience of judging singing reality shows.
In a recent interview, Sunidhi claimed that current reality shows are more dramatic than before.
Much of the emotion shown in front of the camera is fake or pre-planned.
Sunidhi said that she has removed herself from the judging seat of these reality shows because of the way the audience’s emotions are played on for TRP and the show makers instruct a particular contestant to be praised in advance.
Neha Kakkar reacted strongly after Sunidhi’s explosive comments. Recently, when Neha was asked about Sunidhi’s comments during the promotion of the reality show ‘I-Popstar Volume 2’, she said, “Those who don’t have access to grapes will find it sour.
Anyone can say whatever they want, but this show is not scripted in any way. When people don’t get something they want, they say it that way.
If I get emotional after hearing about someone’s life’s hardships or background, it is completely genuine and natural.”
Neha then clarified her opinion on these incidents in the reality show. She said, “The struggles of the contestants’ lives or the tears of the judges cannot be part of any drama.
The stories of the youth coming from remote areas and small towns are real.
Crying after hearing the sad stories or hardships of someone’s life is an emotion, not a script.”
On the other hand, Neha Kakkar has faced criticism on social media for criticising artistes like Sunidhi Chauhan. Netizens are making various negative comments about Neha.
