Runa Khan begins shooting for new film

Actor Runa Khan has joined the cast of the film Jolpobon.
Directed by Rajon Talukdar, the film began shooting in Sunamganj’s haor areas on 15 August.

Sharing her excitement, Runa Khan revealed that Jolpobon is essentially a story about waiting and the lives of people in the haor region. She will play a character named Nirala.

“I do not want to reveal much more at this stage. I joined the project because I liked the character. It is shaping up to be a very good film, and I hope we can give audiences something worthwhile,” she said.

Jolpobon is an independent production, with the director and many members of the cast and crew making their feature-film debuts.

Sushanta Prithviraj and Samiaul Haque are also featuring in the film along with Runa Khan.
