I felt like I was going to die: Manisha Koirala

Manisha Koirala, one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood in the 90s, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2012. The Nepali beauty was diagnosed in 2012.

Even though she has overcome the deadly disease cancer after a long battle and gained a new lease of life, the mental anguish and loneliness of that difficult time are still fresh in her memory.

In a recent interview, she shared her memories of that ‘scary and dark’ night of her cancer diagnosis.

Participating in Sushant Pradhan’s podcast, Manisha says, “During the day, doctors told me about cancer. But at night, a huge emptiness and loneliness surrounded me.

That was the loneliest and longest night of my life! Everything around me seemed completely dark.

I felt like I might not live anymore, I would die! Only a cancer patient would understand how lonely he feels.”
