Nicole Kidman in difficult times

She is going through a tough time after her split from Keith Urban. However, she is trying to accept the situation and adapt to the new reality.

Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman. In an interview with Vogue magazine, the 59- year -old actress spoke openly about her two marriages, personal crises and future.

Kidman married musician Keith Urban in 2006. They separated in September 2025 after nearly 19 years of marriage.

Kidman said of her current situation, “I had a different idea of what my life would be like; but now this is the reality. I have to adapt. The future is completely unknown to me now.”

She also described the time as one filled with fear and deep vulnerability. Kidman said, “There was a time when I was very scared and felt very helpless.

I thought, ‘Should I just withdraw from everything?’ But at one point I felt like I might not survive if I did that.”

Kidman married Tom Cruise in 1990 at the age of 23. At the time, she was told that becoming Cruise’s wife could put her career on hold.

But Kidman ignored those warnings. “I was in love then. I didn’t think about how it would affect my career,” she said.

“When everyone said, ‘Look, we were right,’ she still had the question, ‘Would not I marry the person I love just for my career?’”

Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise were together for more than a decade. They officially divorced in August 2001. The couple has two adopted children, Bella and Connor.
