Dwayne Johnson not worried about ‘Moana’ failure

Disney’s popular 2016 animated film ‘Moana’ was a huge hit. It grossed nearly $700 million.

Thomas Kell has made a live-action film based on the same story. However, this remake failed to do well at the box office.

Variety reported that the film has not been able to attract much audience since its release on July 10.

‘Moana’, which was made on a budget of $250 million, has managed to do business of about $266.1 million worldwide.

Disney may have to face a loss of more than $100 million after deducting the share of theater owners and taxes from this income.

However, the film’;s actor Dwayne Johnson is not upset by Moana’s unexpected failure. He has accepted this as a natural part of the harsh reality of the entertainment world. The actor is happy that he was able to bring joy to some viewers.

In an interview with People magazine, Dwayne Johnson said, “I was very happy with the first few reviews. But then things took a turn for the worse.

This is not new in our profession. My wife and I have talked about it a lot. If someone likes the movie, great; if they don’t, that’s fine.”
