12 DMP officers transferred

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has transferred 12 officers, including two Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) and 10 Assistant Commissioners (ACs), to different units and divisions as part of an administrative reshuffle.

DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmad issued two separate transfer orders on August 6, according to the orders.

Under one of the orders, ADC Tania Sultana, who had been serving in the Traffic Tejgaon Division, has been transferred to the Public Relations (P&R) Division.

ADC Ehsanul Kamran Tanvir, formerly posted to the Maintenance, Procurement and Workshop Division, has been transferred to the Traffic Tejgaon Division. The second order reassigned 10 Assistant Commissioners to various units and divisions. AC Anish Kirtaniya, formerly of Patrol-Kotwali, has been posted to the Transport Division, while Sudipta Kumar Biswas has been transferred to the Equipment Department.

Ferdous Mehboob has been posted to Patrol-Kotwali, while Mushfiqur Rahman Tushar has been transferred to Chawkbazar Zone.

Tania Sultana has been posted to the Women Support and Investigation Division.

Sheikh Suraiya Urmi has been transferred to Public Order Management (POM) West, while Md Mahfuzar Rahman has been posted to Bangabhaban Security-1.

Nusrat Yasmin Tisa has been transferred to the Traffic Division of Pallabi Zone.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Saiful Islam has been posted to Patrol in the Cantonment area, while Md Sakilur Rahman has been transferred to the Detective-Cyber and Special Crime Unit.
