Bangladeshi endurance athlete Md Al Amin Miah has achieved another remarkable international milestone by successfully completing the prestigious IRONMAN 70.3 Calgary 2026, held in Alberta, Canada.

By conquering the grueling 113-kilometer (70.3-mile) triathlon, Miah once again carried the Bangladeshi flag onto one of North America’s most challenging endurance race finish lines, adding another significant achievement to his growing international career.

A Grueling Test of Strength and Endurance

Recognized as one of the world’s toughest endurance competitions, the IRONMAN 70.3 Calgary challenged athletes through three demanding disciplines:

1.9 km Open-Water Swim: Competitors swam in the icy waters of Ghost Lake, where temperatures were approximately 14°C (57°F).

90 km Cycling: A challenging ride across Alberta’s rolling hills and scenic countryside.

21.1 km Half Marathon: A demanding run through the picturesque landscapes of Cochrane and surrounding areas.

Despite the cold water, challenging terrain, and physically demanding course, Miah successfully completed all three stages to earn his official IRONMAN 70.3 Finisher title.
