Premier Bank holds first board meeting
Premier Bank PLC held the first meeting of its Board of Directors at its new head office in Shanta Pinnacle, marking the bank’s relocation to its new corporate premises.
The meeting was chaired by Sponsor Shareholder and Chairman Dr Arifur Rahman and attended by members of the board, senior management and a representative from Bangladesh Bank, according to a press release.
Among those present were Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee Md Forkan Hossain; Independent Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee Syed Faridul Islam; Independent Director and Chairman of the Risk Management Committee Md Sazzad Hossain; Independent Director Professor Sheikh Morshed Jahan.
Independent Director and Chairman of Premier Bank Securities Limited M. Nurul Alam, FCS; Managing Director Md Monzur Mofiz; and Bangladesh Bank Observer A. N. M. Moinul Kabir.
The bank said it has begun operations from the new head office with the aim of delivering more dynamic banking services through a modern working environment and technology-driven infrastructure.
According to the bank, the board meeting at Shanta Pinnacle marks a significant milestone in its new chapter and reflects its continued commitment to innovation, operational excellence and enhanced customer service.
