Soham charged with financial fraud

The discussion has started again around Soham Chakraborty, a popular Tollywood actor and former MLA of the ruling Trinamool Congress party in West Bengal.

The allegations of embezzling crores of rupees by promising to produce films in the entertainment industry and using political influence to get the money back are not new against him. It seems that the old bitter experience has been repeated again.

This time, Soham has found himself in a legal bind over serious allegations of embezzlement and breach of trust of Rs 6.85 lakh from a businessman in name of making a film.

Sheikh Shahid Imam, a resident of Arambagh, Hooghly, filed a written complaint in this regard at Charu Market police station in West Bengal, India, on Tuesday night.
