Al-Arafah Islami Bank receives IAILC Prestige Award 2026

Head of the Brand Communication and Marketing Division of the Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC Md. Mizanur Rahman received the International AI Innovation and Leadership Consortium (IAILC) Prestige Award 2026 from Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Information Zahir Uddin Swapan recently for its contributions to sustainable economic growth, innovative leadership, good governance, skills development and cyber security.

Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC has received the International AI Innovation and Leadership Consortium (IAILC) Prestige Award 2026 for its contributions to sustainable economic growth, innovative leadership, good governance, skills development and cyber security.

Md Mizanur Rahman, head of the Brand Communication and Marketing Division at Al-Arafah Islami Bank, received the award on behalf of the bank from Zahir Uddin Swapan, Minister of the Ministry of Information, at an awarding ceremony held at City hotel Dhaka recently, according to a press release.

The bank was recognised for promoting innovation, strengthening corporate governance, supporting education and skills development, enhancing cyber security and contributing to sustainable economic growth.

It said that Al-Arafah Islami Bank said the recognition reflected its focus on technology-driven innovation, customer-centred services, corporate governance and sustainable development.

The bank also reaffirmed its commitment to expanding modern, secure and Shariah-based banking services in Bangladesh.

Representatives of local and international organisations, policymakers, corporate leaders, academics, technology experts and other guests attended the event.
