‘Shaplakuri’ begins search for talented child artiste
The 14th edition of the talent search competition ‘Shaplakuri’ is about to begin to find talented child artistes in the country.
Organised with the slogan ‘Where there is talent, there we are’, this year’s competition will be broadcast live by television station Channel i.
The registration process for the event has already begun, which will continue until August 20.
The organising organisation, Zia Shishu Academy, gave detailed information at a press conference held at the Channel i building on Sunday.
It said that competitions will be held in six categories: Qirat, recitation, acting, music, dance and instrumental music.
The preliminary winners from 12 regions across the country will have the opportunity to participate in the final or main phase.
The competition will have a total of 15 individual and 3 team categories, where a child can participate in a maximum of three individual and one team event.
In addition to selecting first, second, and third place winners in each category, two people in each category will be declared ‘Shaplakuri Champions’ based on overall excellence.
