WEBCO hosts children’s art exhibition to inspire young creativity

Women Empowerment Bangladeshi Canadian Organization (WEBCO) successfully organised a children’s art exhibition on recently at Khazana Mithai Restaurant on Kennedy Road, Scarborough, Canada, says a press release.

The event aimed to inspire and encourage young artists by providing a platform to showcase their creativity through artwork, crafts, and LEGO creations. In addition to the exhibition, a themed art competition was held, with participants divided into three age groups.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Taniza Reza, Founder and President of WEBCO, who highlighted the importance of nurturing creativity and self-confidence in children from an early age.

The art competition was judged by renowned professional artist Nasreen Sultana, who evaluated the participants’ work based on creativity, originality, and artistic expression.

All participating children received certificates of participation and gift bags in recognition of their enthusiasm and creative efforts. Winners were selected separately in each of the three age categories for both the Art Exhibition and the Art Competition.

The event was attended by children, parents, and volunteers, making it a successful initiative to promote artistic talent and community engagement among young people.
