National Finance elects new chairman, vice chairman

National Finance PLC recently elects Kazi Ahsan Khalil as Chairman and Rizwan Mannan as Vice Chairman of its Board of Directors.

The appointments took effect on 19 July following a unanimous decision at the company’s 231st board meeting held the same day, according to a press release.

Kazi Ahsan Khalil, an Independent Director of National Finance, has more than 37 years of banking experience, including 19 years in senior management positions.

He most recently served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Meghna Bank PLC.
He holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Dhaka and has expertise in corporate governance, enterprise risk management and strategic leadership.
