‘I am proud of India’s young generation,’ Twinkle Khanna

Bollywood actress Twinkle Khanna has expressed her support for the ongoing
student movement in Delhi.

She took to social media to express her solidarity with the protesters after the police lathicharge incident at the ‘Chalo Sangsad’ programme of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP).

She also praised the courage of the youth and said that she is proud of the students.

Twinkle shared several pictures from the protests in Delhi and Mumbai on her Facebook account.

Twinkle captioned the pictures, “I am proud to be a citizen of a country where our young generation still has the courage to protest, resist and endure tear gas and batons. But sadly, they are forced to face all this.”
