Walton Cables holds dealers confece in Sreemangal

SM Mahbubul Alam, Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, and Nishat Tasnim Shuchi, Director of the company, formally inaugurates the Annual Dealers Conference 2026 in Sreemangal, Moulvibazar recently.

Walton Cables brought together more than 300 dealers and sales representatives from across Bangladesh at its Annual Dealers Conference 2026 in Sreemangal, Moulvibazar.

Held under the slogan “Rise Together”, the conference focused on strengthening the brand’s market position and sustaining sales growth through market research, timely marketing initiatives and effective business strategies.

SM Mahbubul Alam, Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, and Nishat Tasnim Shuchi, Director of the company, formally inaugurated the conference at Grand Sultan Tea Resort and Golf recently.

Dealers attending the event pledged to expand access to Walton’s internationally certified cables for households and establishments across the country.

Addressing the participants, SM Mahbubul Alam described dealers as one of the company’s principal strengths.

“Through your efforts, Walton’s world-class and safe cables are reaching consumers across the country. At the same time, the company’s market share is expanding and becoming increasingly consolidated,” he said.

Highlighting the importance of electrical safety, he said cables and other electrical solutions played a critical role in protecting homes and other structures.

“Alongside conducting business, we have a responsibility towards our customers. Walton therefore manufactures and markets safe, international-standard cables and electrical solutions for homes, educational institutions, hospitals, offices and other establishments,” he added.

Nishat Tasnim Shuchi said Walton’s cable business was growing rapidly because of the sustained efforts of its dealers.

She said Walton Cables was meeting domestic demand while also being exported to several countries, including India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Yemen, Nepal and Bhutan.

She encouraged dealers to undertake wider regional branding and promotional activities to strengthen the brand’s presence nationwide.

Mohammad Rayhan, Managing Director of Walton Plaza; Nazrul Islam Sarker, Eva Rizwana and Md Yusuf Ali, Additional Managing Directors of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC; Zoheb Ahmed, Chief Marketing Officer; and Raju Ahmed, Chief Business Officer of Walton Cables, also attended the conference.

Amin Khan, popular film actor and Senior Executive Director of Walton, hosted the programme.
The event also featured a raffle draw, cultural performances and an award ceremony recognising Walton Cables’ top-performing dealers for their contributions to sales growth during the previous year.
