N’ganj admin holds Rath Yatra coordination meeting

To ensure the upcoming Rath Yatra festival is celebrated in a peaceful, orderly, and secure environment, Professor Mamun Mahmud, Administrator of the Narayanganj Zila Parishad and Convener of the Narayanganj District BNP, held a consultation meeting with leaders of the Hindu community.

The meeting took place at the Zila Parishad auditorium on Sunday. Addressing the participants, Professor Mamun Mahmud said that the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), along with its associate and affiliated organisations, would provide full support to ensure the smooth observance of the festival.

He also assured attendees that the Zila Parishad would extend the necessary financial and logistical assistance.

Representatives of the Hindu community expressed appreciation for the continued support they have received from BNP leaders and activists during previous religious events.

They noted that such cooperation has helped maintain communal harmony in Narayanganj.

Praising Professor Mamun Mahmud’s sincerity and commitment, they expressed confidence that this year’s Rath Yatra would also be celebrated peacefully and safely through the collective efforts of all stakeholders.
